»             Do you pride yourself in being good at multi-tasking, but find it getting      increasingly difficult to be effective?

»             Is life too busy?  Finding it challenging to take time just for you?

»             Difficult to turn off technology and disconnect from email, phone calls, Social Media, internet?

»             Have you ever said:  “I don’t have time to relax”; “I can’t quiet my mind, thoughts keep getting in my way”?

If you, a friend, or family member can answer YES to any of the above questions, PLEASE keep reading and forward this newsletter to those who may benefit.

The intent of E.S.C.A.P.E. PATH® is to reach out to those who may question their ability to relax and maybe have tried some techniques in the past that were not effective.   E.S.C.A.P.E. PATH® incorporates the healing power of slow, rhythmic breathing, with the use of a tangible product to help engage the mind and body to facilitate a relaxed state.

I am passionate about sharing information about the many benefits of meditation, relaxation techniques and mindfulness because it has made such a difference in my life.  I would love to have you enjoy the benefits as well.  It only took me 50 + years!!    Practicing a simple daily ritual can help make positive changes in your life.

Today we have scientific evidence proving the health benefits of regularly practicing meditation, relaxation techniques and/or mindfulness.

  • Transcendental Meditation(TM): Studies with the practice of TM include the following benefits and many more: lower blood pressure, reduction in heart attack and strokes, improved memory, increased productivity, clearer thinking, help ease symptoms of PTSD. More information is available on TM at tm.org.
  • Relaxation Response: Founded by Herbert Benson, M.D, his studies have documented that for individuals with the following health problems improvement is noted when the relaxation response is triggered: angina, high blood pressure, heart palpitations, anxiety, insomnia, infertility and menopause, to name just a few.  More information is available at bensonhenryinstitute.org.
  • Labyrinths: Labyrinths have been around for at least 4,000 years in all cultures and found on all continents. A labyrinth is known as a walking meditation, but when it is not possible to walk the labyrinth, one may experience the same benefits by using a hand-held finger labyrinth.  My interest in labyrinths began 3 years ago and to find scientific research on the benefits of its use was scarce.  Today, interest in the labyrinth is growing and so too is the body of scientific information proving its many benefits. We know the labyrinth is used as a wonderful way to quiet the mind, gain balance in life with increased introspection and centering, decrease stress and anxiety, and improve the ability to focus.  More information on labyrinths is available at labyrinthsociety.org .

Make a promise to yourself right now!

Take time each day to recharge your batteries.  The 10-20 minutes taken to quiet your mind, you will gain back with increased energy, productivity and peace of mind!

E.S.C.A.P.E. PATH® is a great way to begin the journey to improve your well-being.

“Labyrinths calm people in the throes of life transitions.  It helps them see their lives in the context of a path.  They realize that they are not human beings on a spiritual path, but
a spiritual being on a human path."
Lauren Artress, Walking A Sacred Path
